Airshield
mattress sized epe foam sheets

Airshield or Aerothene pads, are essential to the construction of good quality Bonnel spring and hybrid mattress systems.

​

These closed-cell polyethylene foam sheets are attached to the spring mattress before any comfort foam layers are added.

 

Airshield protects the comfort foam layers from sharp edges and metal components in the springs.

 

It also provides a moisture-proof layer that protects metal components within the mattress.

​

Airshield sheets are produced in all standard bed sizes:

  • Single, 3/4, Double, Queen, King 

​

And can be purchased in the following thickness:

  • 2mm

  • 3mm

  • 5mm

Bedding Profiles

Bedding profiles are closed-cell polyethylene foam components used in the construction of Bonnel spring and hybrid mattresses.

 

These components are made using a special closed-cell polyethylene foam that is hardened to provide high compression strength.

​

Bedding profiles are specifically designed to fit all industry standard Bonnel spring and hybrid mattresses by intelligently clipping directly onto the coils themselves to provide added compression strength and longevity.

​

The following bedding profiles are now industry standard:

​

  • Corner Supports

  • Side Supports

  • Wave Supports

  • Posture Bars

Our bedding profiles are moisture-resistant, 100% recyclable, anti-bacterial, non-toxic and has low loss of shape under compression stress.

Posture Bars & Custom Components

Posture bars or flat bars, are special profiles used in high-end mattresses for increased stability and firmness across a Bonnel spring or hybrid mattress.

​

Posture bars are also produced using high-density closed-cell polyethylene foam however it is not hardened as much as other bedding components therefore it is easier to insert into a mattress and does not compromise comfort.

​

We have had the opportunity to develop multiple custom profiles and pads for specific brands that enable them to cut costs and inefficiencies in their mattresses.
